Postby dajon » Fri Jul 22, 2011 2:00 am

Preorders for SWTOR now available, seems they are getting hit hard, estimates of initial 2 million will be sold by the end of the weekend.

collector editions, early gameplay ingame store items to help level and a stone to chcnage your lightsaber and blaster bolts to any color plus lots more.. september weekends... lots of big beta invites to play..

also legacy system confirmed details of what you actually get to reroll new toon not released yet.. quote also 17 planets seem to be 19, but they want hundreds ...

Meh, $65-150 for a mediocre game riding the Star Wars tailcoats IMO.

This game will be a pile of dung. I mean, it will be ok for the average WoW player, not for the PvP crowd. The main feature of this game is VOICED DIALOG. Yes, the thing you skip on most MMO games.

What I don't really get, is what do companies lose by releasing ONE server with a PvP ruleset? I mean, I might try the most carebearish game if there's a PvP server. WHY GOD? WHY.

Btw, I haven't posted in like 3 years, after I quit from Darkfall. Hello everyone.

I'm sure that they will have a PvP server or 10, but in a game like this that usually just turns into people bindcamping other people 10 levels lower.

Might be my sort of game actually ;)

But Hika, good to hear from you -- thinking of a comeback ? Have you read about the new Darkfall Version 2.0 coming up with huge changes ?

Can't say I'm hyped because, well, its Aventurine and there's no ETA on the god damned thing, but yes, I'm willing to give DF another shot when 2.0 is a reality. It seems TFK has flourished nicely in both the EU and NA servers, kudos.
