Planetside 2

Postby [TBC]Doma » Fri Sep 07, 2012 4:53 pm

Anyone playing?

I am running around by myself on EU1.
It is a ton of fun. Kinda like a futuristic ww2ol.

Any TFK people in? Got an outfit going?

What faction are you playing on EU1?

And if you buy it from the planetside homepage it is a bit cheaper than on steam

Strange concept, paying to get into a beta of a free to play game :)

They refund you your money actually by giving you some in game currency for items, that once the game is out you can use.... Basicly you buy for that money around 40$ of their currency, that you cannot use yet :D

Yeah but thats not free to play, its pay to play :)

Cleverly disguised way to make everyone pay usual retail price for the game ;)

Well until DayZ comes out i am desperately looking for something that calms me down and relaxes me, since in the last 2 weeks and in the next few ones I am covered with a shitload of work :D
So in the end if i find what I am looking for, I am fine with paying something :D

Only problem with Planetside 2 for me is that I have no fucking clue about that game. Thus I am running around kinda confused not knowing what i can kill and what not :D

So far I didnt see a tutorial or some kind of a manual... only same general ideas what to do... For example I have no idea if there is another way to damage tanks or planes than with explosives.... So far i keep wasting my normal ammo on them in the hope that the damage actually sums up in the end :D
