Next up is our very own Alpine yodeling schnapps swigging, lederhosen wearing Austrian, I hope thats not too many stero types :p
What year did you join TFK and what game did you first play?
2004 or 2005 when Tulang and I were searching for a honor guild on Darktide (Asheron's Call) at a time when there were almost no honor guilds anymore left. Inez made it pretty easy for us to integrate really fast.
Whats your real life job and apart from gaming what other hobbies do you have?
Currently I get paid by my University to make my PhD in physics. What happens once i am done with that is not decided yet. I am still thinking about trying a professional online poker career, but my GF is kinda preventing me from trying it
Apart from your computer whats the first thing you would save from your house if there was a fire!? Probably my GF. But if she can get out by her own, probably personal documents. No 'quest' is harder than going through all that bureaucracy to retrieve such documents.
What do you hate about the world!!!? what would you change?
People in general. There are too many selfish jerks out there. Changing that? Would be possible, but not very legal
Who introduced you to TFK?
Basicly Tulang and I were looking through different guilds on Darktade as our old guild (Schattenkind/Shadow Warriors) was only consisting out of us 2 in the end. But our first contact and the one who guided me into the TFK honor-code was Inez.
Who in TFK makes you laugh the most?
Looks like the guy who was sending out these questions wanted to hear his name. I am not going to say your name, Fav
Did you think TFK would last 10 years?! Why do you think we've lasted so long?
I was not there from the start, so TFK existed already for a bunch of years as a proof the guild 'works'. But what I can say is, that you rather quickly feel the loyality every Knight and higher has got for the guild. That and the family-like athmosphere are for sure a warrantor for a long lasting community.
Have you met any TFK members in real life?
Yeah, Tulang. But we are RL-Friends since we were 10 years old so I guess that does not count
If you could transport a TFK member youve not met in real life to your house for the evening from anywhere in the world is there anyone you would chose, who intrigues you?
I don't have any particular person in mind, but there are for sure a bunch of people out there I consider as 'friends' as far as you can say that for people that you never have actually met. I am not calling names, but I am sure the ones I would call that feel the respect I have for them.
Are there plans for a real life TFK meet up ? would you like to see this happen?
No plans, but if there is any chance for such a meeting (time and moneywise) I would defenitly attend it.
Have you a message for our guild members old and new?
Once you felt home in TFK, you will never feel home in any other guild out there again. Good to be a part of it!

Sorry for the delay, some of you have been asking for the next interview, so at least someones reading these!
What year did you join TFK and what game did you first play?
2000, I played beta and then a couple months on Frostfell until got bored and found Darktide. AC was my first MMORP game
Whats your real life job and apart from gaming what other hobbies do you have?
Retired from the military after 20 years, now currently a computer nerd for Corrections Canada.
I don't know if it counts as a hobby but we built a new house so doing that has been sucking up my time.
Apart from your computer whats the first thing you would save from your house if there was a fire!?
Assuming the wife was already out.....my medals and my 2007 special issue Grey Cup Whiskey commemorating the Riders win.
What do you hate about the world!!!? what would you change?
Religious nut jobs who use it as an excuse to start wars and steal..... just kidding... I hate Quebec. I would send all the Francophone's back to mother France
Who introduced you to TFK?
Xenn, around 15 minutes after me logging into DT
Who in TFK makes you laugh the most?
Hmmm Probably HG, he has a sly sense of humour and is a natural shit disturber
Did you think TFK would last 10 years?! Why do you think we've lasted so long?
At first no, in game years 10 years is a eon, and most guilds no matter how good seem to crumble. After 4-5 I figured we would be around for a long time.
I think we have lasted so long because we attract a quality people, not just gamers. Lots of people still call us home long after they have hung up their gaming gloves. I always found that we were one big family, sometimes dysfunctional, but always family.
Have you met any TFK members in real life?
Yes, if you count the odd friend I recruited. I have also talked to several on the phone.
If you could transport a TFK member youve not met in real life to your house for the evening from anywhere in the world is there anyone you would chose, who intrigues you?
Andy/Kokanee, although that would be cheating a bit because he lives reasonably close in Canadian terms. I actually had schemed to come out and see him a couple summers ago but my dad decided to try have a heart attack just as I was about to start holidays.
I wouldn't say he intrigues me so much as I would like to torment him with John Deere and Roughrider paraphernalia.
Are there plans for a real life TFK meet up ? would you like to see this happen?
I have mulled over and suggested to Andy that we should do a meet up on his island(Vancouver Island). A beautiful scenic place that has one of the premier hikes in all the world. The West Coast Trail. There is also another great trail close to it that is a bit easier. Would be a great place for a guild camp out and adventure together. There is also a MEC close by that you can rent hiking gear from if you don't have any yourself.
If folks were not into the hike they could party at the end location for a couple days and wait for the arrival of the group.
Also if you wanted to come here I now have a guild sized deck (about 2k sqft) that was my summer project. I also live right on the river so you could do a hack of a canoe trip. There is also several areas reasonably close where major trophy fish are caught (ever see a 42 lb rainbow trout?)
Have you a message for our guild members old and new?
I think if I was to describe TFK I would once again compare us to the boxer George Chuvalo.
He did not win every fight but he was never knocked down. He was not the most famous boxer but opponent who fought him (including Ali) said he was about the toughest person they ever fought and had huge respect for him. No matter how hard you hit him he just kept coming, and you might win but you never could put him down.
The night Ali beat him George took his wife out dancing, Ali spent the night pissing blood.
There are flashier guilds, and we have had the hell beat out of us, we have lots of turmoil and tragedy, but those who know us respect and we always keep coming.

Continuing our interviews with members old and new, please be upstanding for the BIG CHEESE himself, supreme leader, the messiah,(yes hes Canadian) Kokanee!
What year did you join TFK and what game did you first play?
I joined TFK in January of 2000, after my original character in Asheron's Call had a short run in Circle of Arms (CoA). I made a reroll after the person who got me into CoA vanished and fortunately for me I ran into Poltaire al-Leras in Uziz. Uziz had become my home and it was nice to find someone of like mind and he introduced me to Kile, Stitches and Xenn.
The first online game I played was probably Duke Nukem, which moved to Team Fortress (Quake 1 mod) and from there I tried out the free beta code I found in a PC Gamer for Asheron's Call. I logged into Holtburg on the red beta world and knew right then that I had found the game for me.
Whats your real life job and apart from gaming what other hobbies do you have?
In real life I am an IAFF career firefighter and beside gaming I enjoy playing, like any good Canadian, hockey, but also play a lot of baseball, golf and I love to hit the hill and go skiing.
Apart from your computer whats the first thing you would save from your house if there was a fire!?
Besides my wife and kids, I would have to say the vehicles, as I don't know if insurance would replace them, that and my box of VHS porn.
What do you hate about the world!!!? what would you change?
I think the world has lost some of it's basic manners. Holding the door open for people and looking someone in the eye is becoming a lost art.
Who introduced you to TFK?
Poltaire al-Leras (Shadir Crow) who was the original Blademaster introduced me to TFK.
Who in TFK makes you laugh the most?
Angry Ghandi blows my mind.
Did you think TFK would last 10 years?! Why do you think we've lasted so long?
There was a time when I wasn't sure, but we were lucky that the people in leadership positions got along very well and worked together to make sure there has always been a stable base for the guild to grow on and has ensured TFK will outlast any one persons gaming life span.
Have you met any TFK members in real life?
Arlon the Wise, and I say that loosely, met each other working at the lumbermill and I introduced him to TFK. Fortunately for me he is a good guy and didn't freak anyone out too much.
If you could transport a TFK member youve not met in real life to your house for the evening from anywhere in the world is there anyone you would chose, who intrigues you?
I would love to get Kee Tana in my living room so I can give her a big hug
Are there plans for a real life TFK meet up ? would you like to see this happen?
This has been brought up a number of times, and while I definately plan to make it back to Great Britain to hook up with Fav, Silva, Lynch and Manny at some point, I think Las Vegas is the go and we should do it in Sept of 2010. The Euro's will just have to get their ass across the pond
Have you a message for our guild members old and new?
Kile Thomsun told me one day that the game is long. It took me a number of years and a couple chapters to really understand how true that statement is. People come and go, but TFK has been here and will continue to be here for people to return to and continue to be more than just a gaming guild.
For All That is Good

To celebrate TFKs 10th anniversary we will be posting interviews with members old and new.
First brave volunteer is Dest, leader of Darkfall on NA-1.
What year did you join TFK and what game did you first play?
The first game I played with TFK was Asheron's Call in early 2008. Something possessed me to download it again after many years, and one of the first people I tried to reconnect with was Jida. Low and behold, he was online at the time I tried. I knew Jida from way back in the beginnings of AC, and I knew of TFK too, but never joined because I had my own guild at the time.
Whats your real life job and apart from gaming what other hobbies do you have?
I'm a software engineer and designer. I've always loved computers, and pretty much self-taught myself the whole way. Other hobbies beside gaming? I guess watching sports and coding basically. I don't need a lot of hobbies, because I don't get sick of the ones I have. There's never enough time is my opinion.
Apart from your computer whats the first thing you would save from your house if there was a fire!? My 47 inch TV, and I guess my cats.
What do you hate about the world!!!? what would you change? I would move the Darkfall server to the East Coast so we could all play together.
Who introduced you to TFK? Jida, the old goat, many years ago.
Who in TFK makes you laugh the most? I would have to go with Emann on a Friday evening after he's had a few.
Did you think TFK would last 10 years?! Why do you think we've lasted so long? It's very simply a great group of people -- and once you are in, you are in for life, and we rarely give people a reason to want to leave.
Have you met any TFK members in real life?
Not yet. Real life is a bummer, and keeps these things from happening more often than not.
If you could transport a TFK member youve not met in real life to your house for the evening from anywhere in the world is there anyone you would chose, who intrigues you?
Everyone intrigues me to be honest. That what makes TFK so great; everyone has a story, and I'd love to hear them all. But if I had to pick one, I'd go with a Euro; either Fav or Lynch.
Are there plans for a real life TFK meet up ? would you like to see this happen?
I would love to see this happen. It would be an epic time. If I win the lottery or fall into a large sum of money, making this happen would most likely be one of the first things I do. There are no plans atm, but there should be.
Have you a message for our guild members old and new?
Yes. TFK is more than just a guild, it's an international family. It was built on common views and outlooks on games and even life. Moreover, I've learned a great deal from and about people in TFK that has made me a better person in the real world. You won't find a better family anywhere on the internet, I can guarantee that.

You have to play what a game gives you. Darkfall is a wonderful game, but unfortunately, it has decided to split it's player base. TFK has been left with no choice but split into two chapters. Dest Locke and our NA players are starting a fresh story on the NA server, with the guild name TFK. It will be a hard road ahead, but I complete confidence that this pack of wolves will continue to make a name for itself.
Emann has stepped up to lead the EU chapter and while he also has challenges ahead of him, he has proven to have the drive to continue making a mark in the name of TFK.
This has caused TFK a lot of heartache, as it is a combination of EU and NA players that has always been one of TFK's greatest strengths. I hope one day that the servers merge and we can be one again.

Darkfall released on February 25th 2009. Since the launch, Darkfall's development continued even harder than before. Several very large patches were released but these were mainly focused on optimizations, improvements, and fixes. Our entire team and all the resources at our disposal are dedicated to development and we're working to make Darkfall the best game it can possibly be. An early result of our commitment to the game's evolution is the first of a series of regular free expansions. Following are just some of the highlights:
|
Verwin Skullcrusher joined us a few months ago from Arcane Blades, during his time with us he has shown all the qualities we look for in a Fremen Knight, he is self sufficient, always willing to help out other guild mates, he excels at pvp and defending our assets and has generously donated to the guild.
Therefore it gives Dest and myself great pleasure in promoting him to full Fremen Knight status, and he is rewarded with the Captain rank in game and full bank access.
Congrats Verwin!

So it is Friday night and after a good troll smashing the Fedaykin (Chersk) puts out the call to go raid the human land. Dagger Fella, Saidrin Rumblefumbler, Kogar Facebreaker, Dest Locke, Kokanee Ice and Chersk Bloodthirst geared up and headed out.
For the first while it felt like we were taking revenge on all the times we had been killed hunting goblins, as we ruined the time of a number of humans and had a hit our favorite towerless wilderness bank to load up a goblin bag.
We continued on following Chersk through different spawns until we hit the water heading to one of the islands and someone says, is that a raft over there?
Glory be it is a raft over there with three people on it. We dive under the water and start heading over, as we run out of air we pop up and start firing arrows. At first the rafters were all happy, feeling safe and in control, as they turned away from the nearby tower. It didn't take long though before they were filling up with arrows and making a mad dash for the protection of the friendly tower. One, two and then finally the last of the sailors fell, leaving a lonely raft floating just inside tower range. Dagger Fella made a gallant attemt to drive it out, but fell to the tower, but he managed to get it a bit closer to safety. Saidrin was next to throw his body into harms way and though he fell as well he got it out far enough that the raft was able to be driven to safety and TFK was plus one raft.
We headed back to the wilderness bank and low and behold a couple of dwarves are there, just looking to hand over a few hours of hard earned golbin loot. After we fill up the goblin bag again and tuck the mount away we are off again. A few Hamlets and an escape of a bees nest later we rolled upon and group of miners, not the first of the night, but these were different in that they were geared and jumped on mounts. We gave chase and after a bit of a haul took one down. It must of been the right one as he had lots of shiny armour, a number of picks and four mounts. We worked our way home after with our "hard" earned booty.
Darkfall is good :)

Despite patch 3.1 the 29's are alive and well. We continue to have good competition, it has only become a higher speed blood and guts spill fest.
True story!
While in the battlegrounds with (tfk board names) Darb, Kiagonn, Corino, Trogdoor, and Tattwo: Darb noticed I was not using my usual supply of heal pots to keep myself alive during skirmishes.
I get a call over vent from Darb, "HEY Doc, why dont you use a pot" to which I replied, "I ran out, no mats". Darb states, "well comere, HOLD STILL, got something for you". To which of absolutely no surprise to me in the trade window is dropped the smallest possible heal potion available in the game. Guild chat is quickly filled with a stream of laughter by Darb and me laughing back in vent saying, "how did I know?". Darb quickly shoots back "HEY, that will save your life!" and everyone continued to laugh over the event.
Not too long after that transpired I was in a 1 on 1 with a horde pally and it was coming to the final blows of combat, him or me him or me? I saw the pot, rolled my eyes, quaffed it just enough to survive the blood rage and pushed the execute button. It was enough to pwn the pally past his buffs and remaining hit points to leave me standing at 5 health.
Myself having no ego whatsoever blasted over the vent channel, "Oh MY God, it saved my life, I'm at 5HP and bandaging!". Needless to say this lead to the barrage of Darb shouts "I TOLD YOU! I TOLD YOU THAT $#!4 WOULD SAVE YOUR LIFE!".
He later gave me several stacks of our levels healing pots but it sparked some good fun and deep laughter amongst those in channel. Goes to show there is still great team work, guild support and camaraderie in the 29's. ROLL ONE TODAY, you know you want to!

After a bit of turbulence an expanded TFK leadership group is ready to push forward. We now have a simular system as in the past, with Supreme Commanders to give full in game coverage, suplimented by three Generals, in the past could be seen as Council members, who have specific roles.
Dest Locke - Supreme General
Injection HB - Supreme General
Wolfen Silva - Supreme General
Fav X - General - Blademaster (Recruitment Officer)
Kokanee Ice - General - Treasurer
Chersk Bloodthirst - General - Fedaykin (PvP Coodinator)
Fav X and Chersk Bloodthirst (Thry) have accepted offers of leadership and will be taking on the roles of Blademaster and Fedaykin respectfully. Both have their own thoughts on how they would like to influence TFK and I look foward to what they bring to the table.
Now that we have a full leadership group we are looking at a guild meeting where we can get feed back on our ideas for moving forward and members can express their own thoughts and ideas on what path TFK should take.
See you all out there.

The one constant in gaming is change and TFK is not an exception to that rule. We have been fortunate that throughout our history we have had quality members who are ready to step up and Darkfall is no different.
I am happy to announce that Dest Locke has accepted an offer of leadership and will join Silva and Injection as Supreme Commanders. Dest has been a rock since beta and has constantly put his ideas and effort forth to help the guild, whether it be in game or with his maps and database creations.
I believe we have good times ahead and look forward to having some fun.

Darkfall Charter
Posted by: AngryGhandi on Friday, February 20, 2009 - 03:17 AM (286 Reads)
|
|
Welcome to TFK Darkfall.
We are excited to start this chapter and welcome all prospective members
This charter was designed with the input of many of our members carefully considered, though many discussions both on our forums and vent. The charter lays out our expectation of all members.
Expect first that you will die, a lot.
Vent
Voice comms have become the standard for successful competitive online gaming. As such ventrillo is required for guild membership. We can provide headsets to those in need, we know budgets can certainly be tight at times. if you need one Please pm a Supreme General, there is no shame in asking, there is shame in holding back your peers by not being able to effectivly communicate. We do not judge you by your voice, age or gender. TFK is a very mature group of people.
All members should be logging into vent before logging into the game to see what they are walking into; There may be times where the spot you logged at is hostile and you could be logging into a blender unaware.
Leadership
While a Officer forum was created for the sole purpose of drawing up this charter, upon it's completion the Forum will be removed. The Darkfall chapter will be led by a Tribunal that may call shots when neccecary and guide the ingame course of action according to plans decided on by all members. Leadership in this chapter will not take place behind closed doors, but rather right on the private forum or Vent where all members input will be recognized and valued as part of our decisionmaking.
That being said, the final decision rests on the shoulders of Injection, Rask and AG. We simply ask that you respect thier task by respecting the decisions they make. Even if wrong, the heat of battle is not the time for deliberation but rather the time for focus on the current plan. If that plan fails it is easier to recognice it's fallacy if everyone was working earnestly, rather than having a scenario where a plan could have worked, but not being sure since it was not executed by all.
Ranks
We are starting anew in Darkfall and have decided to start with a clean slate. All members will start at recruit rank no matter what thier forum rank or rank in previous chapters. Once they have put in some time, shown teamwork, a consistent good attitude and ability to play well with others, they can become full members.
To that end there will only be three ranks in the chapter: Recruit, Captain(Knight) and Supreme General. All members are considered equals despite any personal situations such as overall playtime. Upon reaching the rank of Knight you are a full member in TFK and will recieve Knight forum status if not allready obtained in other TFK chapters.
Grouping
Darkfall is not kind to the soloist. While there are options for arguably successful soloing, success on a consistant scale requires group focus. All members must seek invitation to the current guild group on login.
DF's main goal is teamwork. We will grow together, learn together, fight together and die together.
Loners can no longer be welcome, they create division. If you travel, travel in packs, if you want to explore grab a friend or two.
Teamwork
You must be able to get along and you must be willing to both give and receive orders.
You must be able to shut up when need and to be ready to step up when required.
Stick together, watch each others back and support your guildie even if it means losing your shit.
Stuff is replaceable, esprit de corps and trust is not.
Loot
If you think you will ever be able to keep anything nice, you are wrong. Unless you count keeping it in a vault and staring at it now and again.
So if you cannot handle the thought of constantly losing all your shit, this is not the place for you.
Darkfall is an intensly cooperative pvp game. There is no place here for personal fortunes. The wealth one person can accumulate is insignificant when compared to what an entire guild can generate.
Loot arguments will not be tolerated in DF period. Loot can be lost at any given time; there is only futility in being attached to it. Loot in guild groups will be Master Looted by a designated person and passed out according to where it will currently have the most benefit to all. The guild will supply coin for anything you need such as skill training. The stronger the guild as a whole is, the better all will be for it.
Simply put...Your water belongs to the tribe
Recruitment
You will not see recruitment threads for The Fremen Knights. Our recruiting will be done primarily ingame and through word of mouth. We will always seek good players to join our ranks. Once up and running, Unguilded players may be invited on a regular basis to low security hunts. Quality attracts quality, it is our goal for people to notice us, be impressed by what they see and want to be a part of the good thing we have going. Guests are expected to be treated as any knight and may even recieve loot when possible. Show them who we are!
To Join TFK use the ingame function to apply and then log on to vent and ask for your invite to be accepted.
The ability to persevere.
This game will consistently shit all over you, the most important part is that you pick yourself up, dust off the shit and keep going.
It is not so important that you are highly skilled, though that is helpful, the important part is the will to keep going, laugh at adversity and keep coming. Unbreakable will.
I would compare this to George Chuvalo http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Chuvalo
George was not the most skilled boxer and he did not win every fight but the people who fought him had high respect for him. Whatever you threw at him was not enough to knock him out or even knock him down, he just kept coming. Muhammad Ali said he was the toughest man he ever fought.
That is what TFK should aspire to be in DF, George Chuvalo.
This is the Achilles heel of the big guilds, make their nose bloody a few times and they start losing the will to fight.
See you on the battlefield

TFK's guild structure has traditionally led upwards to one person who has final say in all matters. The rank of First Knight has served the guild well, but a new animal is upon us in Darkfall and TFK shall adapt to best take it on.
The Darkfall Chapter's leadership group shall go a new direction and take on the in-game rank of Supreme General. This rank will join the First Knight and Council ranks into one leadership category. This will give the guild greater flexibility and in game coverage, as it will no longer come down to one person.
Angry Ghandi, Injection and Rask will be the first to take on the rank and lead the chapter into Darkfall and it goes without saying the quality of the individuals who have taken this task on. I haven't been this confident in a game for a long time and it has been great to see Knights come back into the fold. Lets make this the game that stops us looking for the next game and go make some history.

It has been some time since AC has recieved some love and attention. And now that love has come. Turbine has add a generous amount of content to the game in it's 100th patch.
We have had a lot of returning players over the last month and this new patch will give us lots of new content to keep us entertained and happy. If anyone ever wanted to come back to AC this would be an interesting time to do so. With out further delay the 100th patch:
| Release Notes - August |
|---|
| | Greetings and welcome to the 100th content update for Asheron’s Call! This is a special time for all of here at Turbine, having reached this most incredible milestone. With this update we wanted to make sure we did something special for the players. For the longest time, the one thing we have been asked for was an Elder Game system. So with this update, we are giving players the beginnings of that system. We are also giving our PvP players something to fight over, with two new PvP controllable towns. The entire staff here at Turbine is proud to be able to release this update to our players as a small token of our appreciation for everyone who has heard the call over the years. So lets get in to all the new and exciting things coming this month in Asheron’s Call! Societies are Coming! A new faction system has been introduced with this update. Players wishing to join one of the three new Societies will speak with one of the Society Recruiters located in the capital cities of Dereth. The Celestial Hand will be in Hebian-to, the Eldrytch Web will be in Cragstone, and the Radiant Blood recruiter will be located in Zaikhal. once players choose which society they wish to join, they will begin their journey with the initiate quests. The recruiters for each society will have all the details a player will need to make their choice as to which side to join. When a player completes the tasks set out by one of these recruiters, they will be well rewarded and then instructed on how to claim their rewards. As part of this new system, some creatures will now be able to discern which faction you and they are a part of. NPC’s who are part of your faction will not attack you, however if you get too close to those belonging to another faction, they will attack. These NPC’s can and will also attack each other, if they come in contact. Deception and Assess Person now have another use for players involved in the Faction system. All players who join a faction will display which faction they belong to in their description panel. Based on a skill check of Assess Person and Deception, some players may be able to “hide” which faction they are a part of. This ability can be particularly useful in conjunction with the new Land Control elements of the game. PvP Land Control Two new PK towns have been added to the game. The first of these towns is located just north of the Vesayen Isles, while the other town is located in Northern Osteth, near the top of the Dereth mainland. Each town will start out being held by a rogue faction of Moarsmen who will need to be defeated in order to gain control of the town. Players who want to control one of these towns will need to be player killers, however. Non-player killers will be able to fight the NPCs of the town, but will not be able to claim control of the town. |

Greetings everyone! It has now been one month since the official launch of Age of Conan and I am pleased to report that TFK is doing very well. In this past month, we have seen a handful of our membership attain the level cap of 80 and we have built a full Tier 1 guild city in the Purple Lotus Swamp. Guild crafters have already gotten well under way and we have even made a few new friends on this server.
We just closed the first official TFK/AoC guild meeting and it is my great honor to announce that we have some new members that have gone above & beyond what is expected of them and really put their all into this guild and its progression in this game. We have a total of seven squires who are being recognized and are taking their first steps towards Knighthood. I would like to formally congratulate these seven members on their official promotion to the rank of Knight Candidate.
Baalinor - SQUIRE to KNIGHT CANDIDATE
Kido - SQUIRE to KNIGHT CANDIDATE
Alyssa - SQUIRE to KNIGHT CANDIDATE
Baddare - SQUIRE to KNIGHT CANDIDATE
Hollowsoul - SQUIRE to KNIGHT CANDIDATE
Bobio - SQUIRE to KNIGHT CANDIDATE
Viconia - SQUIRE to KNIGHT CANDIDATE

The leadership of the Age of Conan chapter has largely been in place for the past six months or so, however, as always happens in any guild, things shift and come up that require more time to be spent on other things in real life. School & work schedules, honey do's and life in general tend to creep in and divert our attention elsewhere. As the First Knight of this chapter, it is my responsibility to keep this in mind and make the adjustments that are required to ensure that the membership of this chapter is represented to the fullest. I think that we have an outstanding group of members in the leadership of this chapter that have been brought together from all of the previous chapters of this guild. I did not want this chapter to be represented by only members who played AC, but rather, a mixture of leaders from AC, Shadowbane & World of Warcraft. We are here to serve and guide this new chapter to the best of our abilities and with your help, this chapter will succeed and carve its place into the history of this guild.
The official leadership of the Age of Conan chapter of The Fremen Knights is as follows:
First Knight: Draelor
Second Knight: Solarch_Arcar
Council: Iniquity - Fedaykin Captain
Council: SlyXaojin - Treasurer/Diplomacy
Council: Injection - Blademaster
Senior Knight: Darb - Fedaykin Lieutenant
Senior Knight: DaggerFella - Assistant Diplomacy
Every one of us is at your disposal and are all a simple PM away to help with any issues and concerns you may have. Thank you for placing your trust in us and we look forward to serving you all in this new chapter!
~Drae

The Fremen Knights is a very close knit and structured guild that has been around for many years and has held successful chapters in many games. The thing that I think sets us apart from a lot of other guilds, is the sense of duty, tradition, loyalty and honor. These are the qualities that I feel are what give a guild its foundation and ensures its longevity. We have some amazing members here and are always keeping our eyes open in the attempt to bring new blood into the online family of TFK. With Age of Conan, we are planning on really striving for excellence and have already inducted several new members who show incredible promise. Two of those new members have really impressed not only myself, but the entire leadership council with their initiative on the forums and their general helpfulness in helping to answer any questions asked. It is extremely rare to be granted a promotion before a game is released, but it is my great honor to do just that tonight.
I would like to single out Squires Rask & Krayt to the entire membership and congratulate them on really taking the time and going the extra mile while we have been waiting for this game to come out. These two guys have diligently devoted their time and efforts to scouring the forums and providing us with invaluable information. They have referred many new members to us and continue to impress me on a daily basis.
I am deeply honored to announce that they have started their journey towards Knighthood.
~Krayt is now officially promoted to the rank of Knight Candidate and is awarded all of the rights & privileges that accompany this rank in Age of Conan.
~Rask is now officially promoted to the rank of Knight Candidate and is awarded all of the rights & privileges that accompany this rank in Age of Conan.
Congratulations to you both! I salute you on a promotion that is well earned indeed!
